Dawn of the First Saturday

Fresh from her early sleep, May decides to grab a snack, do a bit of light housework, and pay the bills. To her surprise, her sisters have love letters! Steve Cupp is courting Amber, while Finnegan Sawyer has sent two letters to Kay! Sure, Kay's letters both say the same thing, but it's the thought that counts.

The morning goes as normal with Amber sleeping off her late night, Kay making a proper batch of pancakes, and May attempting to do laundry. Attempt, because the washing machine breaks down on her. But, never fear, Kay is here to knockout the problem!

Leopard-print butt.
May decides to spend the day indoors, catching up on reading, and a visit to the art gallery later. Kay chats Finnigan up over the phone, and Amber heads out to the gym.

Nerd butt.
Wide butt eats while leopard-print butt talks to Finnegan how to best eliminate soap scum.
Ah, but Kay gets a bright idea! If her little sisters can have admirers, she can surely get one on her own. She invites a co-worker, Mitch Lee, to hang out at the art gallery.

Neeeeeerd.
As Amber steps into the gym, she is surprised to see not one, but two celebrities working on their figure! Wayne Martin heads up stairs, but teen socialite Natasha Gooder is busy making sure her hair is in the right place and how she wants to visit Chicago someday. Amber does not hesitate to jump between Natasha and her reflection.

"Um, like, excuse me, you're blocking my view. I have to make sure my butt isn't too wide."
Oh, dude, I know how to help! The secret is lots and lots of salads. And mac n' cheese. And pancakes."

"You've also gotta get a lot of sports in, like baseball. Some yoga can't hurt, either."
"Just follow these guidelines and you can really enjoy that beach witha  rockin' bod, like me! Not that I'm bragging, I'm just sayin'."
"O.M.G., T.Y.! I, like, totally didn't know it was so simple. I can finally get off the Short Beach Diet, it sucks anyway."
Amber chats with Natasha, but concludes she needs a professional, working adult to get the connections she needs. An unemployed, not-famous-for-anything-yet teen won't do. After saying good-bye, Amber heads upstairs to find Wayne Martin. The initial encounter goes better than expected. Wayne has seen Amber hustling around town, and is impressed with her initiative in approaching him...more than impressed.

What a fairy.
Despite the impression, Wayne has to go to work immediately, and Amber can't stop him.

I told you!
Her hunt continues. The day is still young, though, so Amber still has time today to network.
